Matt: At this time I’m unsure if there is organic labeling for the ingredients in the pucks. I source all of my bulk items from Sprouts Market in Overland Park, Kansas.  My honey is sourced from a local beekeeper in Merriam called Speckman Honey.  As I grow the business I plan to purchase land where I can grow most if not all of the ingredients that are in the bars. Here are the nutritional labels for the Chocolate Cherry and the Peanut Butter Banana:

July 29, 2015 by Jason Clements

Backpacker PucksYup, I was eating the Chocolate/Cherry BackPacker Puck while I wrote this article.

Are BackPacker Pucks The Best Power Bar For Hiking Climbing or Relaxing?

The short answer is yes.  They only cost $2.50/bar.  They are made with local ingredients with no processed sugars (except the chocolate and the dried cherries).  The flavor is superior to all other power bars.  Click here BackPackerPucks.com to order some now and decide for yourself.  Click here to visit Matt Boulton’s Facebook page.

Support Your Locals In Your Climbing Communities

Supporting locals is a big deal to me and should be to you, too.  Sometimes, we are lucky to get something that is of such quality that it is worthwhile to write about and worthwhile to promote.  These BackPacker Pucks are excellent.

If you are part of the Kansas City Climbing Community, Springfield Area Climbers, Arkansas Climbing Coalition or any hiking or climbing group; reach out to Matt.  He is local.  He is solid.  He loves and supports all things outdoors.
