Explanation of Ratings

Ibex receives the highest rating of A in member costs because they offer the best price for a one-year membership during their Annual Membership Sale. Nobody comes close to that pricing; so Ibex deserves that recognition.

On top of their best pricing, Ibex receives an A in their facility rating.

Monster Mountain received an A- in pricing as they offer the lowest member costs for single day pass; and are in line with Ibex for costs of other membership options.

It is no secret that Monster Mountain is built at the end of a gymnastics facility. The Wall is the Godfather of indoor climbing walls in Kansas City and has seen some wear and tear. The B- rating for the Monster Mountain facility reflects some of the limitations of an older facility and general lack of modern rock-wall characteristics.

ROKC received a C+ rating for membership costs. Most climbers are going to have a rough time wanting to pay a sign up fee; so you should consider taking advantage of the Founding Memberships cost benefits — and quickly.

ROKC also has the highest annualized membership costs. However, ROKC should have the highest rated facilities score A* once we all get to see it. Based on their social hype; I expect that we will all be very impressed.

**Once per year, Ibex Climbing Gym runs their Annual Membership Sale. This year, that sale is April 9, 2016. A full year of climbing and bouldering at Ibex is only $350.

It’s a $50.00 sign up fee or a 4 month commitment. With the founding membership there are no terms and no commitments. *Contact ROKC for full details.
Youth add on (sign-up fee) for kids under 14. It’s only 20 dollars.
80 dollars is for a 1 month pass.
65 dollars per month is the monthly EFT fee.

Facility Notes for ROKC *

Full training area with 5 hang boards, 12 ft systems board, campus board and crack climbing training system. Overhung Campus training beam (t – nutted and stretches across side of classroom wall.)
Full yoga studio.
Full fitness area with treadmills, row machines and bikes. Includes free weights, squat/bench racks and kettle bells.
Check in system is equipped with iPads and will be fully electronic with QR code sign in.
Extra parking allotted for peak times so parking should be a non-issue.
Surround sound, sound system throughout entire facility.
