ClimbSkin Review Pros and Cons [Pictures and Proof]

April 14, 2016 by Jason Clements

The ClimbSkin Review Pros and ConsI enjoy rock climbing, and more specifically, I enjoy bouldering.  Every sesh, I want to improve.  I want an edge.  go site how hard does sildenafil make you texts in time frankenstein and bladerunner essay favorite place descriptive essay viagra billigster preis https://revivemedicalny.com/citrate/doxycycline-purchase-uk/8/ persuasive essay graphic organizer online source link watch creative writing for tv and new media essay questions over hamlet inderal buy canada essay solitude https://indiana.internexus.edu/courses/questions-to-ask-about-social-media-for-an-essay/52/ virkninger av viagra https://ardelyx.com/news-releases/iron-dragon-cialis-reddit/197/ desmethyl carbodenafil and dapoxetine yarsagumba le viagra himalaya cheap mba essay writing websites online middle school math problem solving essay on nurse in kannada how to use viagra tablet for girl https://assessmentcentertraining.org/exercises/sat-essay-score-cornell/58/ https://moorelifeurgentcare.com/edtreatment/levitra-vs-viagra-indonesia/84/ https://willcoxwinecountry.org/linkedin/example-of-introduction-for-report/47/ https://shilohchristian.org/buy/american-dream-scholarship-essay-contest-2017/54/ https://surgicalimpex.com/product/viagra-liquid-gel/194/ cialis. vs viagra click here ben bernanke senior thesis viagra generico dosis I want my skin healthy and strong so that my skin is not limiting my improvements.

So when my friend, Richard Lonski told me that he completed a birthday challenge that included something like a hundred laps – and he did NOT destroy his hands – because he used Friction Labs ClimbSkin, that got my attention.

Just so you know my biases, I have an affiliate account with Frictions Labs.  They make excellent chalk – it is worth trying if you are serious about improving your climbing.  You might like it; you might not.  That’s okay.

Keah Kalantari is one of the Founders at Frictions Labs – he shipped me a container of ClimbSkin at no cost to me.  He didn’t request a review in return for the ClimbSkin.  I did this experiment with ClimbSkin of my own accord.

ClimbSkin Review Pros and Cons: Here is My Experience

Pros:

  • ClimbSkin really works.  An Example:  I spent 6 hours working on a horizontal roof problem with little skin damage and nearly no skin soreness afterwards.
  • You only use a little bit with each application.  It should last many months for the average climber who climbs 3 to 4 times per week.
  • Friction Labs offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee
  • Many, many testimonials of real, satisfied customers
  • Solid owner, solid team behind it
  • You don’t need to be a climber to benefit from ClimbSkin

Testimonial from a Nurse I know through THE Climbing Community

ClimbSkin Testimonial from a NurseCons:

  • Chemicals in the ingredients
  • On sale ClimbSkin costs $20 per ounce
  • Your skin might become too callused (You must add an emery board to your kit.)
  • The label states:  Topic[al] Use Only

ClimbSkin By Friction Labs Review Their Labeling is Stupid

April 12, 2016 by Jason Clements

ClimbSkin By Frictions Labs Review*** UPDATE 4-12-16  …and just like that, Friction Labs have the information on their website updated so that the ingredients listed online match the ingredients listed on the container.

I think I’ll turn this article into a “How Excellent Companies Respond To Criticism” or something like that…

ClimbSkin By Friction Labs Review – Their Labeling is Stupid

I received a container of ClimbSkin from Friction Labs at no cost to me.  There was no request from them for me to review it.  I don’t owe them anything; but part of what I do here at HCRBeta is support entrepreneurs and small businesses.

When I wrote about Friction Labs chalk, I gushed.  It is excellent chalk.  It is a little pricey, too.  However, one principle that I have learned is that the best customers are the ones who recognize the value of expertise.  You don’t have to market to people who consider cheapness a desirable quality.

I’ve got 2 things to say about ClimbSkin:

  1. ClimbSkin is Awesome.  It Works Like a Magic Glove That Gives You +10 Protection For Your Skin
  2. ClimbSkin’s Labeling is Stupid.  It Will Make Many Consumers Angry (Maybe F.L. didn’t realize there is a big difference in their web language and the actual label.)

Let me get the critical out of the way.  Once they fix their labeling, this article goes away.  So the “ClimbSkin is Awesome” portion of this review is going to be here: (_____).

ClimbSkin Ingredients Labeling

I deserve, as do all consumers, to know what the ingredients are in a product; especially a product that is going to be absorbed into my skin and into my body.

Using the phrase “…just natural ingredients…” is a stupid mistake by ClimbSkin’s marketing team.  Every smart consumer knows that “natural” means nothing.
[You can do your own google research:  “What does natural mean in cosmetics”] [Read more…] about ClimbSkin By Friction Labs Review Their Labeling is Stupid

Meet Beau Belger at Moosejaw on the Plaza

February 17, 2016 by Jason Clements

Meet Beau Belger at Moosejaw on the PlazaI have always maintained that buying gear from your friend’s shops makes it a more enjoyable experience.  Add that degree of trust, and you walk out of the store feeling like you just made a purchase of a lifetime!  So, let’s make some friends:  Meet Beau Belger.

Beau is one of the managers at Moosejaw on the Plaza where he works with Gracey Cockram.

When you meet Beau, ask him about how in the world he enjoys the cold weather!

Ladies and Gentlemen:  Meet Beau Belger.

HCRB:  What is your favorite outdoor activity?

Beau:  My favorite outdoor activity is Outdooring, which I define as the act of being out of doors. I am a big fan of pretty much anything I can do in the great outdoors.

HCRB:  What is your go-to drink in the winter? …after a workout?   …when relaxing?

Beau:  My favorite drink, honestly this answer holds true for all three:  Coffee.

HCRB:  Best book you’ve read in the last year?  …best movie?

Beau:  The best book I read was The First Law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie. I’d say the best movie I saw this year was the Revenant

HCRB:  One place you want to travel to, that you haven’t yet?  …why?

Tierra del Fuego AchipelagoBeau:  I am in the process of formulating a plan to fly into Santiago Chile buy a bike and take 6 months riding through the Andes and some wonderful wine country. Make my way down to Patagonia climb my little heart out find a way onto a fishing vessel that would take me around the Tierra del Fuego archipelago and work my way up the Argentine coast to Buenos Aries.

I think the only “why” question i need to answer here would be why haven’t I done it yet, which I can only answer by saying; school.

HCRB:  Alright, Beau,  why should we stop into Moosejaw to meet you? [Read more…] about Meet Beau Belger at Moosejaw on the Plaza

Everything You Wanted To Know About ClimbOn: Meet Will Reynolds Young

February 11, 2016 by Jason Clements

Everything You Wanted To Know About ClimbOn Skin CareThis interview with Will Reynolds Young will answer everything you wanted to know about climbOn.  If you are a rock climber, you have probably already used climbOn.  Did you know that there are a host of other skin care products that climbOn (and SKINourisment) carries?

Please meet Will Reynolds Young.  Meet Will Reynolds YoungHe is the Chief Digital Officer for climbOn and the parent company, SKINourishment, Inc.  Their brands include climbOn, crossFIXE, SKINourishment SPA, and RIDICULOUS!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Will Reynolds Young:

HCRB:  What is the last good book you read?

Will Reynolds Young:  The Body in Pain by Elaine Scarry

HCRB:  What was your favorite breakfast cereal when you were a kid?

Will Reynolds Young:  Cinnamon Toast Crunch – I’m a sucker for sugar.

HCRB:  Last place you were when you said, “WOW, that is a beautiful sunset!”

Will Reynolds Young SunsetWill Reynolds Young:  Anyone who’s spent a day with me knows I am a sucker for sunsets. It amazes me that no two sunsets are the same. Recently, a time comes to mind where I was driving to downtown Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is unique because it has the Fort Pitt Tunnels as sort of an entrance to the city. You drive through the tunnels and all of a sudden there’s the city. I happen to be doing this at the perfect time.

HCRB:  What was the last thing you googled?

Will Reynolds Young:  Blue Mountain Ski Resort.

HCRB:  What is something that you are an expert at, that few people know?

Will Reynolds Young:  Public Speaking. Don’t get me wrong, I get nervous, but somehow I just have a tendency to rock it. Here’s a session I did at Podcamp Pittsburgh in 2013 entitled Small Business Social Media Toolkit.

HCRB:  You an Apple or Android guy? Why?

Will Reynolds Young:  Apple. I have an iPhone, Apple TV, and a Macbook. I bleed Apple. I love the beauty of the devices and how well they are built, not to mention the OS is just fantastic. That being said, I love technology. In the last year, I’ve had a Nexus 5X and a Samsung Galaxy S6.

HCRB:  Would you rather climb Everest or submarine the Marianas Trench?

Will Reynolds Young:  Climb Everest, no question.

Since 1996, Polly has created food grade skin care products before organic and all natural was the cool thing to do. Often times we hear about natural products that really aren’t natural at all. Propylene glycol is considered a natural ingredient.

We take natural to a whole new level with food grade, pure products. This means no fillers, parabens, perfumes. We have been really lucky and honored to grow by word of mouth. We have no sales team and I am the only one who does marketing on a regular basis.

To this day we still hand pour all of our products in our own Wimberley, Texas warehouse, production, and offices. Here’s some highlights about our company with some links to educational blog posts on the topic.

  • Woman-owned
  • Made in the USA
  • EU Compliant
  • 100% pure
  • Food grade
  • NO synthetic ingredients
  • No “fragrance“
  • NO phthalates, NO petroleum by-products, NO mineral oil
  • NO GMOs
  • NOT tested on animals
