I am Jason Clements. I love the outdoors. I love outdoor adventures. I love rock climbing at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch in Jasper, Arkansas. I love the mountains of Colorado.

I also run a cell phone recycling program called Cells for Cells where we recycle cell phones to raise money for families battling cancer.

I enjoy watching MMA.  I enjoy reading fiction.  I can make a world-class cheesecake from scratch.

When rock climbers speak of “beta,” they are talking about the “how to” or the set of instructions for what to do next.  If someone is struggling with a climbing route or problem, they sometimes ask for “beta” to help them get to the next move.

When I first began learning about Hiking and Climbing and Relaxing, it was difficult to locate websites that weren’t dedicated to the top athletes in the field or the most expensive equipment on the market.

Don’t get me wrong, I love reading articles about the latest gadgets and I like watching videos from Big Up Productions and Louder than 11.  But early on, I didn’t even know how to tie a guy line on my tent and the best video I could find had it backwards.
